Our Story
A cockroach in the crib, then the ceiling came down.
Four kids under four, a lovely apartment on a great block, and a lease signed after one walk-through. Then the leaks in the nursery, the heat that didn't work, and the family room ceiling on the floor. The neighbors had lived the same thing years earlier, with the same landlord.
All of it was already in the public record. Nobody hid it — it just wasn't anywhere a person with a job and four kids was going to find it in an afternoon.
