A 1910 two-family setup on a busy Bath Beach commercial strip.
A two-family brick home built in 1910 on 18th Avenue in Bath Beach. The building itself carries zero open violations, so the primary dynamic here is the active commercial strip right outside the front door. Two things to know:
Curb space and driveways are a constant neighborhood pinch point. 267 illegal-parking calls were logged within three blocks over the last year, mostly posted sign violations and blocked hydrants rather than abandoned vehicles. Another 143 calls came in for blocked driveways, showing how tight curb access gets on this strip.
Retail enforcement on the avenue spills into neighborhood filings. 10 complaints regarding cannabis retailers were logged within three blocks over the trailing 12 months. It points to active storefront enforcement and turnover along the 18th Avenue commercial strip.
