A classic three-family townhouse where the building keeps out of trouble, but the block carries active street friction.
A three-unit Bed-Stuy rowhouse dating to 1899 that stays off the city's operational radar. The building itself shows virtually no housing complaints, but the immediate block context carries noticeable street activity. Two key details to consider:
The building stays clear, but curb space nearby is tight. While the house has only one closed plumbing call over the last year, the surrounding area sees heavy traffic friction. Within three blocks, 195 illegal parking calls were logged over the past 12 months, predominantly posted sign violations, blocked hydrants, and double-parking.
Late-night noise and pest reports concentrate on nearby properties. The surrounding three blocks logged 135 residential noise calls over the past year—mostly loud music and parties—along with 105 unsanitary condition reports dominated by pests and mold. The house itself avoids these filings, so living here depends on unit placement.
