76 Union Street, Brooklyn

An 1899 two-family townhouse where direct complaints focus on brief construction and curb access rather than chronic interior issues.

A two-family 1899 townhouse with long-standing family ownership in the background. Specific housing-code datasets for this address are not recently updated, leaving direct municipal complaints and surrounding block patterns as the primary lens. Two main signals stand out:

A short cluster of complaints hit the property in late 2025. The building's direct file carries four complaints from late 2025 covering a temporary water shutoff, construction beyond approved plans, a blocked sidewalk, and an obscured license plate. All four calls closed shortly after being logged.

Curb space and driveway blockages drive neighborhood friction. Within three blocks of the house, street complaints concentrate heavily on curb logistics: 150 illegal parking reports—mostly blocked hydrants, blocked sidewalks, and sign violations—alongside 25 blocked driveway calls. Commercial noise and trash collection issues linger much lower on the list.

Quieter signals on this building and the blocks around it:

• 13 commercial noise complaints were logged within three blocks over the past year.
• Three lead kit requests and three rodent sightings were logged within three blocks during the same 12-month window.
