A Soundview two-family home where street-level vehicle friction and commercial air quality complaints shape the immediate blocks.
A 1940 two-family frame house in Soundview that transferred to a multi-member family group in 2018. Housing-code records for the property itself are unverified, so the surrounding streets provide the primary operational signal. Three things to know:
A multi-member family group bought the property in 2018. A seven-member family group purchased the property in March 2018 for $630,000 with a $504,000 mortgage. The filing reflects an end-user family transfer rather than an investor flip.
Commercial food venting and air quality complaints show up nearby. Within three blocks, residents filed 6 indoor air quality calls and 6 food establishment complaints over the past 12 months. Exhaust odors and venting fumes typically affect specific exposures or lower floors closest to commercial kitchens.
Car music and curb conflicts dominate the surrounding blocks. Street activity in the three blocks around the building included 227 vehicle noise complaints over the last 12 months, driven almost entirely by loud car music (219 calls), alongside 210 illegal parking reports.
