A three-family home in Soundview sitting on a busy street corridor.
A 1975 three-family frame home in Soundview where individual building filings are sparse, but the surrounding street activity tells the story. The house last changed hands in May 2020 for $765,000. Two things to know:
Street-level noise dominates the surrounding blocks. 276 street and sidewalk noise calls came in within three blocks over the last year, primarily driven by loud music and parties (267 calls). That street activity continues right into recent months.
Curb access and driveways stay busy. Curb space around this stretch sees heavy friction: 214 illegal parking calls and 103 blocked driveway complaints within three blocks over the last 12 months. Double parking and blocked hydrants make up the bulk of the parking issues.
